Jaremey McMullin (Director, Best Man Corner) and Kirsten Midura (Founder, Engines for Change and TMFF Judge Panelist) discuss BEST MAN CORNER and using the medium of film and motorcycles to bring to light, and talk about, important issues that matter. BEST MAN CORNER is one of five films that comprise a documentary short series, 'Liberia: Legacies of Peace.' The series, funded by the Scottish Funding Council's Global Challenges Research Fund, looks at the everyday challenges and opportunities of peacebuilding in post-war Liberia. He is a Senior Lecturer in the School of International Relations at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He has published extensively on ex-combatant reintegration and post-conflict transition after a civil war. Kirsten Midura has a background in international development, foreign policy, and sustainability. She is the founder of Engines for Change, a non-profit organization that mobilities motorcyclists as agents for positive change. She's a filmmaker, writer, community-builder, and a TMFF Judging Panelist and alum.
