The SSE Education & Outreach Committee is a major outreach component of the Society for the Study of Evolution. With an annual budget of US$30,000, the Committee supports symposia at the annual meeting of the SSE as well as at meetings of various professional education societies. The Committee also provides funding for SSE member-based outreach activities and is a participating body in various NSF sponsored initiatives in collaboration with the Ecological Society of America and the Botanical Society of America.
