Tuberculosis: Working together to Empower Nations Diagnostic Effort (TWENDE) is a project aimed at bridging the gap between research innovation and policy and practice. Led by the University of St. Andrews the project brings together a consortium of 7 institutions, 6 of which are in East Africa: Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
