Personal profile

Research overview

I completed an MSc in Classical Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh, writing my dissertation on the iconography of Isiac sculptures in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. I am currently working with Dr Machado and Professor Sweetman on a PhD that investigates monumental Aegyptiaca (Egypt-referencing material culture) in Greek urban environments in the Hellenistic period.

Throughout my academic studies, I have worked passionately on public archaeology and classics outreach through blogging, creating educational materials and art about the classical past. I have worked in Roman Aeclanum as a Public Engagement Coordinator, and with Dr Alice König on the Visualising War podacasting project as a PGRA. In 2020, I launched a public-oriented history podcast, Two Friends Talk History, where I interview multi-disciplinary academic guests to explore and illuminate the past.
