Personal profile
Biography
Zainab Teraif is a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Professional Practice in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DProf TESOL) programme at the International Education Institute of the University of St Andrews (Scotland, UK), and a full-time English instructor at the School of Foundation of Bahrain Polytechnic (Kingdom of Bahrain).
Research interests
My interest lies in the reciprocal relationship between theory and practice, where insights from research inform educational practice and practical experiences enrich theoretical understanding. Hence, because of this interest, I tend to explore trends in ELT (e.g., Blended Learning, Integration of Generative AI). I also found myself linking my findings to the theory of Adult Learning (Andragogy) because of my context in higher education which I think is also becoming an area of interest.
