Research overview

I am an Associate Lecturer (Education Focused), as well as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Nik Ruškuc in the Algebra and Combinatorics research group.  My PhD work is on two decidability questions – the well quasi-order and atomicity problems -- for posets of combinatorial structures under various substructure orders, with a focus on consecutive orders.

From 2022-2024, I co-led the Piscopia Initiative, an outreach scheme to encourage and women and students of underrepresented genders to do maths PhDs, and foster community among women and underrepresented gender mathematicians at all stages.  I am always happy to chat about my experiences with anyone considering applying for PhDs.
