Stuart Horsman

Stuart Horsman is the Senior Principal Research Analyst on Iran at the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.  He was previously the FCDO’s Central Asia Research analyst and between 2009-2011 worked for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Vienna. He received his PhD on Central Asian security from the University of Sheffield, and been a visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford’s Department of Politics and International Relations. He has published on Central Asian politics, security, and environment, British-Iranian relations and the politics of mountaineering.
