Research overview
Sepideh started her PhD in 2023. She works on a comprehensive dataset from HATUA, an interdisciplinary study exploring the burden and drivers of antibacterial resistance associated with urinary tract infections across East Africa. Her work focuses on biological and social drivers of antibiotic resistance, utilizing genomics, bioinformatics, and statistical methodologies. Her research is conducted within the School of Medicine and Geography and Sustainability Development, highlighting the multidisciplinary nature of the project.
