I am happy to discuss potential PhD projects in my areas of expertise, particularly those relating to (1) political and/or moral psychology in Buddhist contexts (2) pro-migrant solidarity and collective action.

Personal profile

Research overview

I am a social and political psychologist with expertise in social identity and intergroup relations. Much of my work has focussed on racism and the politics of immigration. My most current interests are in the psychology of religion, especially in relation to Buddhism. I am currently carrying out a project on resistance in Tibet which includes analysis of archival oral histories and primary data collection in Tibetan exile communities in India.
