Research overview
I am a PhD candidate exploring applications of cognitive science to the study of state religious ritual in the late Republic. My project is supervised by Dr Tom Biggs and Dr Michael Carroll, and previously by Dr Tom Geue (now at ANU). I completed my MA (2019) and MLitt (2020) also at St Andrews.
My main research interests are generally related to religion and magic in the ancient world, Latin literature of the late Republic and early Empire, and investigating interdisciplinary methodologies.
