I am an experienced Research Software Engineer and I have worked on research projects across a range of disciplines, including Physics, Biology, Computer Science, Psychology, History, English, Art History and International Relations. I also provide support to researchers who work with code. I am a qualified Carpentries Instructor and teach regular Software Carpentry workshops, teaching basic programming and related skills to researchers.
I have developed research software including websites, interactive web applications, searchable databases, mobile apps and data analysis pipelines. I have experience with a range of programming languages and technologies, including Python, Java, PHP, JavaScript, SQL and shell scripting.
