Personal profile

Research overview

I find the Jewish scriptures endlessly fascinating. My interest began with the Bible's very first text, so it's fitting that I am focusing my dissertation at the beginning of the overarching storyline.

In my dissertation, I argue that Genesis yields the thought-world that underlies resurrection.

Genesis' authors narrativize reversals, re-creations, transformations, and God's endless relationality—which are like primary colors—and, when mixed together and scaled up, they make the white light of resurrection.
