Research overview

Ali’s research investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within leadership processes, with a particular focus on its impact on decision-making and communication in organisational contexts. Adopting a social identity approach, his work examines how AI affects the dynamics between leaders and followers, influencing interpersonal relationships and shaping social identity. His research interests centre on leadership in modern organisations, trust—both within groups and in AI—and the implications of AI on leadership processes, particularly in relation to the social identity approach to leadership.
