Research overview

Ali's research is titled, “Exploring the Impact of E-leadership on Virtual Team Performance in UK Firms”. It focuses on how e-leadership—leadership mediated through digital technologies—affects the outcomes of virtual teams—members collaborate remotely via computer-mediated tools. It aims to examine how Advanced Information Technologies (AITs), including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, transform leadership practices and influence team efficiency within the context of UK enterprises.

He has completed MRes in Management Studies from the University of St Andrews (2023-2024), and holds MSc in Management Studies from the University of York, MSc in Strategic Supply Chain Management from the University of Roehampton, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Bamyan University. Additionally, he has a decade of work experience in operations management, research, and evaluation with international NGOs in Afghanistan.
