Personal profile

Research overview

I came to the University of St Andrews in 2020 as an undergraduate and have continued into my PhD in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience. My research centres around the student motivation, self-worth protection strategies, students' engagement with learning, and the wider student experience. Through this work, I aim to develop teaching strategies and institutional interventions to enhance student motivation for learning, and reduce their use of maladaptive self-worth protection strategies.
