Research overview

Katrin's research area is Theological Anthropology and the Theology of Religions. Her current project examines the Lutheran approach of Carl Heinz Ratschow (1911-1999) and the Roman Catholic perspective of Karl Rahner (1904-1984), both very much engaged in theological reflections about how Christians can and have to relate to the other religions, though with interestingly diverse results.

Katrin is also interested in the implications of a Theology of Religions for questions on Religious Education.
