Research overview

My research is situated at the crossroads of philosophy of science and epistemology. More precisely, I am working on topics in the social epistemology of science. My research revolves around matters of acceptability and assertability of hypotheses in light of uncertainty and inductive risk. I am also working on collective epistemology (esp. judgement aggregation in science), epistemology of expertise, epistemic division of labour and epistemic trust. One day I hope to understand what all this implies for the relationship between science and democracy.
