Kasia A. Houghton is an ESRC-funded doctoral researcher at the School if International Relations at the University of St Andrews and Research Associate with the PeaceRep consortium. Her doctoral research focuses on Russian intervention in the Syrian conflict and her broader research is primarily on Russian and Chinese grey zone strategies and interventions in conflict and post-conflict areas. She is a fellow at the Centre for Syrian Studies and Centre for Global Law and Governance at the University of St Andrews.
