I am currently pursuing a PhD in evolutionary theory. My research uses a variety of theoretical and mathematical techniques to investigate the evolution of cooperation, complexity, and internal conflict, especially in the context of the major transitions in evolution.
Articles in progress:
Twyman, K.Z. and Gardner, A (under review). The clonality window: relatedness and the group covariance effect in the evolution of division of labour.
Twyman, K.Z., Gardner, A. and Rendell, L (in progress). Evolutionary game theory explains how less singing can be adaptive in recovering humpback whale populations.
Master of Science, Sex ratio is key to understanding the effect of population density on singing in humpback whale breeding grounds, University of St Andrews
