Biography
I did my integrated masters degree in economics at Lancaster University. My dissertation topic was "Working from home or shirking from home?" supervised by prof. Eyal Winter and prof. Ian Walker. In my current research I am exploring the impact of working from home on the British economy and its potential to increase productivity and wellbeing. My methodology is based on the novel machine learning techniques such as causal forests and Bayesian causal forests. I am supervised by prof. David A. Jaeger and Dr. Margaret Leighton.
My research interests lie within labour economics, health economics and applied econometrics where I am particularly interested in application of machine learning methods in causal inference.
This academic year I am teaching EC2203 Statistics for Economists. Additionally, as part of my commitment to teaching, I am also pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
