Personal profile
Research overview
I have 20 years’ involvement in open access including 12 years in St Andrews. My roles have covered the full range of Scholarly Communications activities from repository and metadata management, copyright and licensing advice, funder compliance and REF2021 support, to setting up and running the University’s Journal Hosting Service.
In my current role as Head of Open Research my remit is to lead in the development of policies and services to embed open research practice at the University. Our Open Access and RDM services are based in the University Library.
