Research overview
Assessing future biodiversity outcomes of restoring climate-sensitive habitats
I am a part-time PhD researcher seeking to develop insights in biogeography, ecology and spatial modelling, while generating evidence to guide ecological restoration and environmental management practices. This research is informed by a variety of professional and voluntary experiences in the conservation sector, and draws together interests in mountain woodland restoration, cryptogam assemblages and the ecological trade-offs inherent in varying land management strategies.
My research is supervised by Dr. Ian Lawson, Dr. Althea Davies and Dr. Richard Streeter, and funded through the Tony Edwards Bequest Scholarship.
