Movement through space and time, Time-resolution and inference implications, Connecting statistical inference and machine learning
Developing and implementing new methods in applied statistical ecology for animal conservation and population management. Particular interests in capture-recapture, spatial capture-recapture, passive acoustic and visual monitoring, and workflow pipelines from new technology deployment to fit-for-purpose statistical analysis.
