Research overview

My research explores Black British identity through Windrush scandal literature, examining themes of displacement, belonging, and the legacies of colonialism within the context of post-Brexit Britain. Drawing on postcolonial theory, particularly the writings of Paul Gilroy and Stuart Hall, I investigate how contemporary authors respond to sociopolitical shifts and engage with the evolving discourse on race and identity.
