Research overview

Enrico’s main research interests include early modern philosophy, Enlightenment studies, ethics, and its history. His Ph.D. project, supervised by Prof. James Harris and Prof. Julia Driver, focuses primarily on David Hume’s moral philosophy. In 2022, Enrico was a visiting doctoral researcher at New York University, where he worked with Prof. Don Garrett. 

Before starting his Ph.D., Enrico has been a DAAD fellow at the Göttingen Institute of Advanced Study and the University of Cologne (Germany) where he worked on the French Enlightenment, which remains one of his prominent interests. His current project is generously sponsored by the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities and St Leonard's College.
