Xuan Minh Ngo is an Associate Lecturer in International Education and TESOL at the University of St Andrews, UK. Minh’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of language assessment, language policy, teacher education, educational technology, and curriculum design. His works have been published in System, Language Teaching Research, Journal of English for Academic Purposes (JEAP), English Today, Asian Englishes, The Qualitative Report, Asian EFL Journal, Journal of World Languages, and recent Routledge, Springer, Cambridge, and Bloomsbury edited collections. His research received the Dean's Award for Outstanding HDR Theses from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2023 and the Duolingo English Test Doctoral Research Award in 2021. His teaching has also been recognised with the University of St Andrews’ Inclusive Teaching Award. Minh is actively involved in academic service through roles such as an editorial board member of St Andrews Journal of International and Language Education (SAJILE), a committee member of the St Andrews EAP conference, and as the Secretary of EUROCALL's Teacher Education SIG.
