Research overview

Deryn is a PhD student in the department of philosophy, studying the concept of work and the role of work within social institutions. In particular, her research currently focuses on understanding the relationship between work and the collective goods required for community- and society-building, as well as the normative implications that this relationship has for social policy.

Deryn is also interested in the social, political, and ethical questions that can be found at the intersection of work, technology, and education.
