My project is about the nature of assertion. I'm interested in what is essential to assertion and what differentiates it as a speech act. Currently, I'm trying to characterize group assertion. My aim is to bring useful tools from previous discussions about individual assertion and individual speech acts to the group assertion debate, and get data from this last case to understand the nature of assertion.
