Personal profile

Research overview

I use planetary analogues and experimental research to develop the science and technology related to current and future robotic space missions within our Solar System. I am especially interested in geothermal systems and how volcanism (including cryovolcanism) both supports and preserves microbial life. I am part of the Panoramic Camera and Enfys science teams for the ESA ExoMars Rover. Finally, I am interested in the interface between art and science, and collaborate with a variety of visual, audio and literary artists and academics to produce creative content.
