Biography
Christina Day Eickenroht was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She moved to Washington, DC to attend Georgetown University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Christian Literature, Theology, and Art History. Under the supervision of Dr. Olga Meerson, Christina's undergraduate thesis explored the analogous visual and verbal poetics of Pieter Bruegel the Elder and Fyodor Dostoevsky. Upon graduating, Christina served in student ministry at Georgetown University while she began seminary study through Reformed Theological Seminary DC. She then transferred to Regent College in Vancouver, where she earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) with a concentration in Christianity and the Arts. While in Vancouver, Christina also served as a ministry apprentice at King's Cross, a local Anglican church plant. Along the way, Christina has spent formative seasons at branches of L'Abri Fellowship in Greatham Village, in Southborough, and on Vancouver Island.
Through her studies, her work in college ministry, her apprenticeships, and her formation at L'Abri, Christina has come to love hospitality, story, Scripture, liturgy, the arts, the history of ideas, cultural exegesis, gardening, trail running, functional fitness, jigsaw puzzles, cups of tea, and children's books.
