Research overview
I am an inter-disciplinary social scientist interested in how responses to social needs emerge from and relate to contemporary forms of capitalism. I focus on international development but more broadly public outsourcing and relations to the private sector. I teach on NGOs and social enterprises.
Other expertise
I have worked in the international development sector since 2004, working across a number of conflict and post-conflict states. I have worked as an evaluator, particularly for adaptive and governance projects.
