Research overview

Braulia Ribeiro is a Brazilian interdisciplinary scholar interested in several fields of the humanities, including philosophy of history and politics, language a social thought. Her recent work dives in the intersection of language, religion, and power in early modern Latin America. She earned her Ph.D. in Political and Religious Philosophy from the University of St Andrews, with research conducted through the Centre for the Study of Religion and Politics (CSRP).  She also holds a Master of Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Latin American and Iberian Studies from Yale University, as well as a BA in Anthropological Linguistics and an MA in Indigenous Linguistics.
