Braulia Ribeiro is a Brazilian researcher working on her PhD through the CSRP in Political Theology of Early Brazil. She has a Master in Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Latin American and Iberian Studies from Yale University, as well as a BA in Anthropological Linguistics and MA in Indigenous Linguistics. In Brazil she was a researcher and a social worker volunteer in the Amazon Region for many years working with unwritten indigenous languages, specializing in the phonological systems of several, and providing technical expertise to community development and educational initiatives. She is married and a mother of three.
Her areas of interest are; Early Modern History, Colonial Studies, Moral Theology, Ethics, Political Thought, Jesuits in South America, and Philosophical Theology. She is widely published in Brazil on themes like culture, religion, ethics, and politics for the general audience.
