Research overview
Dr O'Hare is a Reader in Global Health in the School of Medicine.
She leads the Government Revenue and Development Estimations, (GRADE) project. The team translate the impact of changes in government revenue on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). She formerly sat on the advocacy committee and the international board of the RCPCH. Dr O’Hare worked in the NHS before working in Africa for ten years as a consultant paediatrician and public health doctor.
She is a member of the WHO Technical Advisory Group on Economics, Climate and Health (TAG-ECH).
