Research overview
Archwin’s research engages with theories at the intersections of leadership studies, public administration, and socio-cultural contingencies. His doctoral project focuses on the interplay of social identities and governance traditions in Thai local government, particularly in educational contexts. Drawing on relationality as a lens applied to leadership research, it examines the implications that traditions and identities may have for how ‘traditional’ understandings of management or leadership infused with hierarchical and bureaucratic notions come to be delineated.
