Anna's research focuses on banking and taxation. She is interested in investigating how banks respond to taxation and whether and how this may impact on financial intermediation and the real economy.

Anna gained a BA degree in Japanese and Management from SOAS and Birkbeck College. She received her MLitt in Banking and Finance from University of St Andrews. Prior to joining academia, she worked as a financial analyst in the USA and Germany. She is a member of the Centre for Responsible Banking and Finance (CRBF).
