Alia Taifi

Alia Taifi is a PhD candidate in the Department of German. Her thesis focuses on the central and peripheral women in Theodor Fontane’s fiction.

She received her MA (Hons) in Comparative Literature and German and her MLitt in Modern Languages (German) from the University of St Andrews. 

She is also the Book Reviews Assistant for the academic journal Forum for Modern Language Studies.
