Research overview
I am a PhD student in cardiovascular focused research, co-supervised by Dr. Samantha Pitt and Dr. Colin Murdoch. My PhD project entitled 'The role of MG23 in regulating vascular contractility in hypertension' is hoped to categorize the role of MG23 in the vasculature, leveraging new knowledge to investigate from disease-associated genetic variants through to the biological function the role of MG23 in vascular biology.
