Description
Measurements of tephra thickness and grain-size distribution of tephra from the 1991 eruption of Hudson were collected from small lakes and terrestrial sites in Chile in areas north and south of Lago General Carrera. Measurements were collected in January 2020 and subsequent grain-size distribution lab analysis took place in 2022 and 2023. Measurements were taken to evaluate the quality of tephra preservation several decades after the eruption.
