Description

The open data folder contains seven sub-folders: Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images, X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (TEM/TEM-EDX) analysis, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area measurements, differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (DTA-TGA), X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) data, and electrocatalytic characterizations.
SEM folder contains TIF, JPEG images, together with EDX analysis files in pdf format collected using a JSM-IT800 Schottky Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope.
XRD folder includes xrdml, csv, udf files measured using a PANalytical diffractometer equipped with CuKα radiation (λ = 1.5406 Å). Cell parameters were refined using WinXPOW (pks, raw) and the processed data are provided in txt and csv formats.
TEM and TEM-EDX imaging were carried out by FEI Titan Themis instrument with a 25 keV He+ beam with a beam current of 0.2 pA. The folder contains microscopy images in png format and EDX analysis results in xlsx, and csv format.
The BET specific surface area was determined from N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms measured at 77 K using a Micromeritics TRISTAR II 2020 systems. The BET folder contains files in pdf and xlsx, csv formats.
DTA-TGA analysis was carried out using a Netzsch 449C instrument and the corresponding folder includes txt data files.
XANES data were collected at ambient temperature, on the B18 at Diamond Light Source, UK. In the folder we provided asci, dat, txt, and Athena project (prj) files.
For data processing, we used PoWDLL Converter, Origin (opj, otp), excel (xlsx, csv), WinxPOW (dat, txt), AfterMath (paax), Image J (txt), Athena (prj) and additional supporting files are provided in pdf, jpeg, docx, png formats.
Electrocatalytic characterizations were performed by a rotating ring disc electrode (RRDE) equipment manufactured by Pine Research. The data collected by AfterMath software (paax) and processed data in origin file (opju) were provided.
