The attached data underpin the PhD thesis "The power of imperfections – the sources of colour and luminescence of natural cryolite from Ivittuut (SW Greenland)". The following file types and formats are included:
- Photoluminescence - .csv and .txt files (can be opened with a text editor, but mind the large datasets in TRES files - Excel cannot plot them, so designated plotting software like Origin is recommended)
- UV-Vis-NIR - .txt files (can be opened with a text editor), same data summarised in .xlsx file (open XML format)
- Raman - .txt files (can be opened with a text editor), .xlsx files (open XML format)
- Thermal Treatment - .jpg files
- Composition - .csv (can be opened with a text editor), .pdf and .xlsx files (open XML format)
- Flash Pyrolysis - .csv files (can be opened with a text editor), same data summarised in .xlsx file (open XML format)
- Thermogravimetry - .csv (can be opened with a text editor), .jpg and .xlsx files (open XML format)
- Mass spectrometry - .xlsx files (open XML format)
- Microscopy - .tif, .bmp and .jpg files (images), .txt files (can be opened with a text editor), .SIF and .spx files (Propietary software)
More details on the files are provided in the Data_underpinning_thesis.pdf file and ReadMe.txt file (same content, added pdf for reader's convenience)
The data files are embargoed until 28/05/2027
