Description

This dataset contains rock magnetic analyses which were done in connection to the paper "The magnetic fingerprint of pulsed granite magma emplacement and alteration: Slaufrudalur pluton, Iceland", submitted to the AGU journal "G cubed". The rock magnetic analyses are as follows: AMS (anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility; "ip" in-phase AMS; "op" out-of-phase AMS; low-field (LF) and additional high-field (HF) measurements), AARM (anisotropy of anhysteretic remanent magnetization; low-coercivity 0-20 mT AARM; high-coercivity 20-60 mT AARM), demagnetization of NRM (natural remanent magnetization), T-X experiments (measurements of magnetic susceptibility with temperature; LT low temperature; HT high temperature), hysteresis loops, and FORC measurements (first-order reversal curves). These are all raw analytical results which may be assessed for further clarification and reproducibility.
