This repository contains 3 folders. The first folder, data, contains the reduced, extracted, joined and calibrated 1D spectra for the 14 massive quiescent galaxies analyzed in this paper. Each file has 3 columns, representing wavelength (observed frame), flux density (erg s^-1 cm^-1 AA^-1) and error. Three galaxies also has alternative versions of this 1D spectrum file where the G140M grating was not included in the joining.
The data folder also contains two csv tables. input_photometry.csv has columns for all PRIMER+HST photometric points and their errors from the Begley et al. (2025) catalogue, plus redshift and redshift flags from visual inspection as described in Carnall et al. (2024). The second csv table, results.csv is a machine readable form of the main results table (Table 2) in the paper (fiducial BC03 models, no alpha enhancement variation).
The filters folder holds the photometric filter curves needed to repeat the Bagpipes fits in this paper.
The scripts folder has one script, which documents the exact model setup and priors used in Bagpipes for the fiducial fits in this paper, including both with and without AGN components.
