Description

Processed figure data, Origin Project Files (.opj) and finished figures (.pdf, .svg and .png). Files are named after the chapter to which they pertain. The following is a list of data included:
- Force Distance Spectroscopy data for metal-free elastic resonators, multistoichiometrically mixed elastic resonators and multi-elastomer mixed elastic resonators (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open)
- Reflection mapping data for elastic resonators with different cavity lengths (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Comparison of simulated and ground truth force data (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Animal locomotor viability on elastic resonators (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Water contact angle data on collagen treated elastic resonators (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open)
- Tracked ventral kinematics of locomotor waves and the anteroposterior latency against wave speed relationship (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Tracked ground reaction force, indented volume and contact area for individual protopodia over time and the relationship between initiation and termination substrate displacement against wave speed (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Odor tracking behaviour data (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open)
- Muscle tracking data (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Profiles along soft, medium and rigid elastic resonators (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Profiles of displacement for bilaterally active animals (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Mediolateral and anteroposterior displacement tracking for individual protopodia (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Tripod papillae behaviour data (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).
- Kinematic tracking of rolling behaviour (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open)
- WARP analysis of rolling behaviour (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open)
- Anterior and posterior velocity tracking and anteroposterior angle tracking data (Origin project files, .opj. Requires Origin License to open).

To aid in navigating the dataset, all files include, in their file name, the relevant figure which they relate to as well as a brief summary of what the dataset contains. Any files which contain only the figure code are the finalised version of the figures included to allow easy navigation of in a situation where the thesis itself is not readily accessible.
