Description
These data sets contain all the relevant single-molecule microscopy (SMM) and spectroscopy (SMS) data that I collected during the development of my PhD project. They are separated in different files, accordingly. The SMM data consist of individual .tiff files (SMM movies) separated in .zip files according to sample and solvent name. The SMS data are in a single .zip file, but separated in individual .dat files according to solvent name. I have included the necessary Matlab routines for processing the raw data relevant to either set (unless otherwise specified in the thesis) and for reproducing the results I obtained. Particularly relevant are the files: sorttraces20180227.m, read_video.m, and spectrumbinG3_frames.m. The programs have been commented accordingly to guide the reader.
The data set also contains a Matlab workspace file containing the instrument-response function of the SMS setup I uses, as well as all the ensemble spectroscopy data I acquired (in the form of Excel worksheets). The file names have been labelled accordingly.
Finally, I have also included the digital version of the figures included in my thesis that do not require further copyright clearance.
