Description
These data were used to carry out the analyses in Chapters 2 - 6 and the appendix of the thesis "Sex allocation and sex-ratio conflict in viscous populations".
Chapters 2, 5, and 6 were analysed using Mathematica software. The data were generated as a compilation of workflows and analytic results in Mathematica notebook format (.nb), and thus require Mathematica software to open, visualize, and analyse.
Chapter 3 and the appendix were analysed using Mathematica software. The data provided are the simulation codes used to generate datapoint in the result. All in Mathematica notebook format (.nb), which requires Mathematica software to open and analyse.
Chapter 4 data were collected from experimental evolution: the number of alive male and female spider mites (Tetranychus cinnabarrinus) were counted from the base population (G0) and at generation G5, G10, G10+1, and G10+2. The raw data were recorded in a Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx). The data used in this chapter were recorded in Microsoft Excel Comma Separated Value Files (.csv) format for later statistical analysis in R software. An R script file (.R) coded for statistical analysis was provided. Lastly, the simulation analysis was conducted using Mathematica software, the simulation code and results was provide in Mathematica notebook (.nb) format.
