Description
The obligatory pelagic larval duration of Ostrea edulis was investigated in laboratory experiments at three temperatures: 13, 18 and 25 degrees. Moreover, the larvaes ability to delay metamorphosis in the absence of adequate settlement cues, thereby prolonging the pelagic duration, was investigated during 14 days. The datasets are stored in a relational database in MS Access.
