Description
This dataset consists of six Word documents containing life history interviews with four older adult participants. These qualitative interviews form the empirical basis for Chapter 7 of the associated doctoral thesis. The data captures personal narratives focusing on migration, ageing, family dynamics, identity, cultural transitions, emotional wellbeing, and social inclusion. Two of the files, involving a Chinese older couple, are in Chinese, as the interview was conducted in that language. All identifying information has been anonymized or redacted to protect participant confidentiality, in accordance with ethical research guidelines. The transcripts were collected with participant consent and are intended for academic and research purposes only.
