- Galvanostatic battery data: .IQx (can be opened with a text editor)
- Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy analysis: .xls format (can be opened with Excel)
- Infrared spectra: .txt (can be opened with a text editor)
- Neutron powder diffraction files: .dat (can be opened with a text editor) and .gsas (proprietary format)
- Optical images: .jpg
- Photographs: .jpg
- Potentiostatic battery data: .CIQx (can be opened with a text editor)
- Powder X ray diffraction data files: .xy (can be opened with a text editor)
- Scanning electron microscopy micrographs: .tif
- Single crystal X ray diffraction data files: .hkl (can be opened with a text editor) and .cif_od (can be opened with a text editor)
- Thermalgravimetric data files: .csv file (can be opened with Excel)
- X ray absorption spectroscopy data files: .dat (can be opened with a text editor)
