Description
These spreadsheets contain lists of donors who gave money to two University of St Andrews fundraising efforts in the late nineteenth century: the Bursary Augmentation Fund (1885), and two phases of fundraising for University Hall (1892 and 1908). They were transcribed from archival records in the University collections as part of the 'St Andrews and the Legacies of Empire' project, and offer insights into small-scale (and crowd-funded) philanthropy in Scotland c1880-1910.
