Description
Code and dataset required to perform the data analysis and produce all figures in Nauter-Alves et al. (2025) Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology "Thermal and non-thermal controls on benthic foraminiferal Mg/Ca, Sr/Ca, B/Ca, and Mg/Li: global core-top compilation, revised calibrations, and application to the geologic record".
Please note that GLODAP, WOA, VM28-122, and ODP Site 806 datasets are provided for ease of use purposes only and are not our work. Please see and cite the original publications where appropriate (available in Nauter-Alves et al. (2025)).
A Matlab function enabling the calibrations reported here to be applied to arbitrary sample data is available at: https://github.com/dbjevans/ElCaRBenthic
